Back Forty Beer Co – Huntsville

Back Forty Beer Co. Huntsville is a brewpub from the Gadsden-based brewery, which was founded in 2008 and named for the farming term for the hard-to-reach 40 acres at the far end of a farm. The Huntsville location brews its own beer on site, covering American and European craft styles served fresh from the brewhouse. It introduces more than 50 new beers a year and pours from up to 20 rotating taps. The kitchen takes the same creative approach as the brewhouse, with a menu of gourmet pub food that includes the Back 40 Cheeseburger, Neapolitan-style pizzas and a kale salad. The company is known for beers such as Naked Pig Pale Ale and Truck Stop Honey Brown Ale, which earned silver at the 2010 Great American Beer Festival. The brewpub offers event booking and gift cards.
