Yellowhammer Brewery

Yellowhammer Brewing is a Huntsville brewery that opened in West Huntsville in 2010, started by four friends whose goal was to give Alabama good, traditional beer. It grew quickly, and in 2015 it moved into a new facility at Campus 805. Since then the brewery has doubled in size, adding brewing capacity, a distillery and a private event hall called the Bierhall. Yellowhammer focuses on ales and lagers rooted in Belgian and German brewing traditions, given a Southern interpretation. The distillery side makes Yellowhammer Vodka, distilled on an 18-plate column and filtered and bottled by hand, along with other spirits. The taproom has a draft list and Earth & Stone Pizza, and the brewery offers rental spaces including a private room and The Lounge. Yellowhammer is a member of the Alabama Brewers Guild, supports Free The Hops and hosts a Medieval Fest & Market.
