Oyster City Brewing Company

Oyster City Brewing Company’s Mobile taproom brings the Florida brewery to Government Street in Mobile. The company was founded in 2013 and opened its doors a year later in Apalachicola, Florida, a historic Gulf town, and it uses the tagline Made By The Water. The Mobile location pours Alabama-brewed Oyster City beer, with plenty of seats at the bar and space to hang out in the courtyard. Year-round cans have included Apalach IPA, Hooter Brown, Legacy Lager, Tates Helles Lager, Mill Pond Dirty Blonde and Panhandle P.O.G. The brewery describes its goal simply as making good beer for the communities it loves, and its taprooms are meant as places where locals and visitors gather. Besides Mobile, Oyster City runs a tasting room at its Apalachicola brewery and a Tallahassee taproom with a beer garden and weekend live music.
