Red Clay Brewing Company

Red Clay Brewing Company is a downtown Opelika brewery and taproom with a focus on its local roots. The brewery opened in 2015 and has been a community gathering place in the town for more than a decade. It is now run by owners Chris “Hutch” and Kandyce Hutchison, who took over with a commitment to keep what makes Red Clay special while improving the experience for guests. Their stated mission is to brew good beer, serve quality food and offer a welcoming spot for friends, families and neighbors. Brewer and plant manager Craig Collins has worked with the brewery since its opening. Along with house-brewed beer, the taproom serves pizza and hosts trivia nights and live entertainment. Red Clay also posts an events calendar and offers its space for private rentals.
